Flu Vaccine

13-valent Pneumococcal Vaccine

The 13-valent vaccine effectively prevents pneumonia caused by invasive pneumococcal disease.

High-risk individuals aged 65 and older, as well as those over two years with chronic conditions, should first receive the 13-valent vaccine, followed by a booster dose of the 23-valent vaccine eight weeks later. If the 23-valent vaccine has already been administered, a wait of at least one year is recommended before receiving the 13-valent vaccine.
